The price of utilities with Central Hudson is actually insane. Our recent monthly bill—for a home we are not even living in yet—is over $500. I genuinely don’t know how we are going to afford our utility bill, especially once we are actually living in the home and using utilities.
Horrible, horrible experience. Their "estimated reading" is not accurate at all! They need to hire more guys in the field to give accurate readings, especially to new customers. We have proof and everything for our pre reading, and tried to correct it before and after!!!! They declined to help us then and now. Everyone is complaining about the same thing. Im very disappointed with the service from Hudson Central Energy. After a fire in my home back in March, I had to stop my light service for safety reasons. Now that my home is ready to reconnect, the staff has been completely unhelpful with reinstalling or restoring my service. l"ve tried to get assistance multiple times, in one day, but no one seems willing to help or provide clear guidance.
