I am extremely disappointed with my experience with CeX. I originally ordered a pink Nintendo DS Lite online for $180 after the Toowoomba store only had a faded one available. When it arrived, it was heavily scratched, felt rough as though it had been bleached, and even came with a black stylus — despite being sold at full price and not discounted. No phone number to report a complaint for a refund of money I was promised from a purchase. The bank advised the money has not been happily refunded nor is it sitting somewhere in ☁️ Cloud. I do not live local but 45 minutes away so making trips to this store is beyond reason. The amount was $430 of my money which I need urgently. How can a company of so many stores not have a contact number to the store. The Bank advised me to call the ombudsman small claims to take matter further.
Disappointed, Got the switch 2 pokemon controller and it dos not work at all. Staff was friendly. Not sure why the items are never fix like controllers joy sticks are broken, screens are scratch, dirt and dust in cracks. Do the store just not fix/clean what their selling ?
I’ve had some good experiences with them but if you have trouble getting support is tough. I bought an item online on Saturday and it’s Thursday and item still hasn’t been shipped. Spoke to “support” and I got a email on Tuesday saying it was getting dispatched but clearly that was a lie. Not sure if I’m overreacting but it shouldn’t take that long to get an item sent out. Just my opinion
