Great attorney to go against. Made outrageous demands of me with no proof, put a divorce lien on the opposition when they refused to pay, and opposition had to higher a new attorney, would give 10 stars if possible as I had a great experience.
Way, way too expensive for the services provided. Upon further reflection, this was one of the worst mistakes I made, to hire this firm. I spent $10000 the first month (1 hearing) for not great results. It is especially galling that this law firm is responding to negative reviews by revealing details of a consultation, which seems highly unprofessional or flat out denying another negative review.
I had much more than more than a “chat” with Laura. It turned into a pretty thorough re-examination of my life (triumphs as well as mistakes), and she turned out to be a profoundly good listener and an even better filter…with no judgments, just thoughtful questions. Had my free consult and things seemed on the up and up until I contacted them to let them know I would hire them. That was when I learned that there is a separate upfront meeting with its own $2k retainer that is separate from the “hiring” retainer that was quoted at $10k.
