Definitely beware of any CERTUS location. It’s sad because the potential is there to be a nice place.
Beware choosing Mount Dora - you can't trust them. The place seems nice, and it is, and they do seem to treat residents nicely. But... they withhold care information, you don't know if your loved one is getting their medications, they don't tell you the truth if it serves them to lie, and they care about one thing only - making money. We got our loved one out of there, but at a huge cost.
I wouldn’t recommend. Had an awful experience back in January with my husband that changed our lives. I loved a lot of the care staff. He unfortunately sustained so many injuries and illnesses here.
Be aware of sending your loved ones here .
Money hungry company . My mom passed away March 31st 2025 , I received a bill for April , even though we moved her belongs out on April 2nd , they state you have to give 30 day notice , how are you supposed to know someone is going to pass away . No compassion for the family , just worried about getting the money .
