Repo'd vehicle that was under an order of protection for bankruptcy and then harassed and verbally abused me when I tried to get the vehicle back because they illegally repossessed it.

This is the worse place to buy a car they are crooks they repoed my truck for no reason I had all my receipts and everything they were very rude all up in my face please be aware of them

This is the worst place in Chilton county to purchase a vehicle. The owner of this place does not abide by his own agreements. I paid my payments monthly instead of biweekly per an agreement with the owner. My payments were scheduled to be paid on the 26th of each month. Paid them every month with no problems. On Sunday January 25, 2015 went to Alabaster and my truck was gone when I came out of the store. John Carpenter is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. Never again will I recommend this business. And this review is coming from a customer who paid every month and on time. I feel sorry for a person who needs to be late with their payment because he harrassed me when I traded my car in and received a pay-off check. He acted like a complete fool and tried to flex muscle that he did not have, which only resulted him being a joke.
