My name is Paul. I worked at Certain Teed from 1967-1971. At that time it was a great place to work. Jim Beasley was plant manager and Johnny Johnson was my foreman. I worked on all pipe extruders until I was transferred to the customs division where I became a on call foreman. It was great. I was 19 yrs old, married and working steady. The good days. Back then,,,it was a friendly down home place to work. We worked around the clock 365 days a year. I loved it. I am now 75 and cherish the memories of the time I spent there.... read more
