Ed Cernic Jr. also worked at the shop part-time after school and in 1970, began to motocross race. In 1972, Ed Sr. purchased what is now the Pleasure Valley Raceway in Armagh PA, as a practice course for his sons Ed Jr., Craig and Jeff. Steer clear. They wanted to charge me $50 to remount a tire because I didn't but the tire from them. The service writer then told me that their "standard rate" is $35. I told then I'll take is somewhere else; since, they obviously didn't want my business. All my local biker friends in this area have always advised me to stay away from Cernics, but up until now, I've only had my inspections done there; and until now, I didn't have a problem with them. We recently went to purchase a golf cart. The salesman Steve was very rude and unprofessional. He was bothered by the fact that we came in to look at something an hour before closing. We will never purchase anything from him and he should definitely find a new employment. We have dealt with cernic’s for years and we have always been treated great. This was very unfortunate.
