I've always been drawn to restaurants that do the multi-course tasting menu style of dining and Ceraldi stands up there with the best meals I've had the pleasure of experiencing, of any restaurant type! Don’t bother with the Triptych (3-course meal) though not stated on the website the two seatings for the 2026 season are paced for the Classic / 7-courses. On the evening we went, dinner service was delayed by 20-25 minutes due to the tardiness of a “VIP” couple. The first plates started coming out of the kitchen 45 minutes after our (& everyone else’s) punctual arrival with only drinks (no nibbles) offered. Highly disappointed bc we loved it so much last year. Why not simply scale to a set two seating 5-courses?!

The food at Ceraldi was very good, but unfortunately I left disappointed by the service and overall experience. I made the reservation for my birthday and mentioned beforehand that I generally try to limit dairy (not that I have an allergy or require a dairy-free menu). The staff thoughtfully went through the menu with me, and I specifically indicated which items I was comfortable eating. For one course, I simply asked for the cheese to be served on the side.
