The food here was amazing 😍😍🤩🤩🤩 😋😋😋!!! Oxytails n rasta pasta. I already ate the goat meat!. Sorry y'all. I was hungry lol!!!
I ordered the small jerk chicken and the small oxtail, and both came with generous portions for the price. The Jamaican kola was also really good and paired well with the meal. The only thing I would suggest is adding a little more sauce. Next time, I may try the brown stew chicken gravy over the rice and peas for some extra flavor. Overall, everything was tasty, and I’ll definitely be back!
The stew chicken and oxtails dinner were kinda dry. They both need more juice on the rice. The oxtails were seasoned very well. Would be great with more juice on the rice. The mac and cheese looked good but need more seasoning. The festival was just plain no flavor. I would eat here again just ask for more juice on the rice.
In my opinion, as a person from the Caribbean, this restaurant has the best authentic caribbean food in Jax (at least from those that I’ve tried). They are very consistent with their quality and quantity. The rasta pasta is a favorite and the jerk chicken is really good. One thing I wished they had was jerk ribs. But if you’re looking for really good caribbean food, I highly recommend this spot!
