We live on Vancouver Island and I booked nights at the Century Plaza for the night before an international trip flying out of YVR. I booked based on the location and the price, so to be honest, my expectations were pretty low. But I was blown away - the hotel is spotless and the customer service is of the highest callibre. I'll stay here every time I have to stay in Vancouver.
Bring Double Earplugs. The Century Plaza Hotel makes a great first impression. The lobby is clearly where recent investment has gone (it’s modern, polished, and welcoming). Unfortunately, that level of care doesn’t carry through to the actual stay experience. Noise is the biggest issue by far.
