Dealership would not make good on a tire warranty because I did not have time to wait until their shop was available at 4PM that day. The tire that was installed had a bulge in the sidewall and was less than a year old. The gentleman in the garage that I spoke to said that the tire has to be on the rim in their shop for them to accept warranty work, even though he could clearly see the bulge in the side of my tire, mounted on my MINI. I had to buy the tire from their parts desk and take it to another shop.
I came in to have an oil change on my 2018 mini countryman. I was told by the service team I needed to get extra work done like air filter, spark plugs, and something else. Then the service men insisted that I get new tires. They demanded that I get mini tires because of the road hazard. I mentioned I’d check out Sam’s Club and the man told me that Sam’s Club doesn’t have tire warranties which is a lie because I bought tires from Sam’s Club for another vehicle.
