I saw Dr. Fathollahi years ago (2018) for a simple annual wellness exam and will never forget how she looked at me and said "So, what are we going to do about the weight?" when I was not seeking weight loss advice. I told her the truth, that I was not concerned about my fitness, that I walked miles every day and also took karate classes multiple times per week. (I also wasn't even fat at the time! The doctor was pretty good, I think. Still waiting to find out because I have been charged for things I did not request, but that might be insurance. The real issue is the office staff, who do not respond. I have called and emailed for the past couple of months for help on this billing issue, and they have not responded and I had to escalate outside the office. I liked the doctor, but there is no way to contact her directly and the office staff sucks.
Terrible bedside manner. This doctor is arrogant, insensitive and imperious. When doc recommended a biopsy and we asked what she was looking for, her response was “what is one normally looking for when a biopsy is performed?”. This is just unacceptable communication from the medical community - a hard no. Recommend this doctor find a research position where human interaction is not required.
Avoid! Dr. Fathollahi has a frightful bedside manner best described by condescension and lack of empathy. 0 communication between front desk and doctors, and overall abundant lack of patient care
