To start this doctor showed up over 40 minutes late to my appt (first slot of the day) due to oversleeping and before that was 25 minutes late due to front office not adding this to her schedule. Both times that made me feel extremely upset and then she rushed through my appointment. I have struggled with PCOS and extreme symptoms as a result. I truly appreciate Dr. Fathollahi for taking the time to listen to and address all of my concerns during my visits. She has consistently helped me find solutions to my medical needs and always makes me feel heard and cared for. I am willing to travel across the boroughs of NYC to see her because of the quality of care she provides. I saw Dr. Fathollahi years ago (2018) for a simple annual wellness exam and will never forget how she looked at me and said "So, what are we going to do about the weight?" when I was not seeking weight loss advice. I told her the truth, that I was not concerned about my fitness, that I walked miles every day and also took karate classes multiple times per week. (I also wasn't even fat at the time! The doctor was pretty good, I think. Still waiting to find out because I have been charged for things I did not request, but that might be insurance. The real issue is the office staff, who do not respond. I have called and emailed for the past couple of months for help on this billing issue, and they have not responded and I had to escalate outside the office. I liked the doctor, but there is no way to contact her directly and the office staff sucks.
