In response to the owner's "Response" below, I want to clarify that when I brought my typewriter to the shop, the technician informed me it was severely "gummed up" (direct quote) and required a deep cleaning, which would cost a lot. However, upon taking it to a friend afterward, it became apparent that the issue was a simple electrical problem, easily resolved in minutes without any specialized tools. Above & Beyond Customer Service! Dropped off a printer for diagnosis & repair but never got as far as repairing it. While it was ‘on the bench’ I cancelled the repair and they were happy to let it go.

The service was quick and satisfactory. I dropped my manual typewriter in the morning and picked it up in the early afternoon. It works perfect now. Thanks a lot!
