Let me start by saying we were on a family reunion vacation in Vail Colorado. When I needed medical care as a result of altitude sickness. I quickly looked online for the closest hospital. Val was listed having a 24/7 hr emergency department. However, you cannot walk into the facility as you have to travel by ambulance to utilize his services. Incompetent rude nurses and administration department in this hospital. Incredibly overpriced for the lack of care this hospital provides. True Catholics would be appalled on how they have Saint Anthony propped up for falsely correlating this place with his holy name. Nurses here are egotistical and narcissistic not helpful caregivers. Wouldn’t recommend this place even if you were dying. Would have more dignity dying in a car on i70 headed to a competent hospital than laying here. If you’re in need of care, I wouldn’t recommend this hospital. The nurses were incredibly dismissive and lacked basic compassion. My husband was uncontrollably vomiting and clearly needed assistance, yet they treated him like an inconvenience rather than a patient in distress. He was throwing up all over himself and received minimal help. It was upsetting and unacceptable.
They used scare tactics to make me sign papers I didn't want to sign now they changed me 3K for an IV. I wish these places cared about you, they only care about your money
I was seen for a tramatic event where I was attacked and recovering. They called me the next day to check on me and I explained I was still feeling pain in my head and still had pain in my heart. The ER Nurse had the nerve to call the billing department and ask me about payment and billing. I have good insurance but this is unacceptable treatment if you ask me. I would avoid this place if you value customer experience
