I’ve stayed here quite a few times over the last 10 years,when it was shit and when it was great,its definitely getting better,I will always remember it as a very child friendly place,our kids in pool all the time,nothing was an issue,I will stay here again and often as I can see it improving from ho2 it was 2 or 3 years ago,I’ve stayed in worse that cost more

I was travelling to Rockhampton to attend a funeral from Gympie. Its about 6 hours drive. And I wanted to freshen up and have a rest prior to attending the funeral. I know that check-in are at 2pm. So I rang ahead to see if there was any chance of getting in early. I was arriving in Rockhampton about 11 am. On arrival, I received a message from the motel, that they could accommodate my request and I can check in as soon as I arrived. Check in was good, arrived after hours they left clear instructions on where to find key and to access the key. The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was older style but very clean and shower had good pressure and hot water. The had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in bottles attached to shower wall you could use. They had tea, coffee, sugar available but there was no milk left in fridge. The only downside was the bed it was terrible could feel the springs there was no support in the mattress at all.
