The guy at the front desk was VERY kind and professional. The mechanic who did my SAAQ extortion.. I mean inspection totally roughed up the inside of my car and didn’t put anything back. Pulled out the suv added 2 seats while throwing all the trunk items all over the floor. Spilled the bag of cat food (I had secure in the back) all over the floor. Every mirror moved. !!!! AVOID Mechanique Fyx !!!! These guys are so dodgy and they fail cars for the most trivial things. I took my car back to my mechanic and what they were claiming was not a problem. Took the vehicle to another inspector and the inspector confirmed that he'd heard multiple reports of others having the same experience here. Total scam.
Please DO NOT go this garage. Thay are very rude, impolite and unprofessional. Thay just get (stealing) your money and charge you multiple times.
PLEASE DO NOT GO THIS GARAGE FOR INSPECTIONS FOR THE SAAQ. Very obvious that they do not follow protocol. They do exams/check certain components and functions of the vehicle that are not necessary in the book they follow for safety inspections. They do this so they can charge you for multiple exams. There are other reviews on here claiming the same thing as myself. Please ask for another garage if the SAAQ recommends this one. Literally any other one besides Centre Mécanique Fyx on Saint-Jean.
