I accompanied a group of young people here for an afternoon as part of respite activities. They had a fantastic time running around the woods, finding sticks to make our bonfire and learning about nature. Their favourite part was definitely making pizzas on the fire and toasting marshmallows! Liz provided a wide range of food, including vegan options. We can't wait to come back!
DO NOT GO HERE/REFER PEOPLE HERE A mental health group that is more like a toxic work environment gardening group due to the shaming and forceful attitude of the woman who runs it. People leave sessions in physical pain and emotional pain to the point of crying and still the directors refused to discipline the manager or replace her. It's a retraumatising environment for people who have experienced trauma, and shouldn't be allowed to exist with the current leader.
