Absolute bunch of incompetents. The hospital (Mount Nittany) has our address correctly, but somehow our apartment number magically vanishes from the records of CEMA. Without trying to reach us or verifying the address from the hospital, they sent our bill to the collection.

Company doesn't bill insurance despite giving insurance information at the front desk. Instead they send you a "final notice" mail more than a month later and waste your time making you call in to ask them to do their job.

If I could give zero stars I would. It is unfortunate that this is the only emergency medical service in State College, as their billing is the most abhorrent system I have ever encountered. After never sending me any bill or any correspondence, my bill was sent to collections. As it turns out, they did not have my correct address on file until after they sent my bill to collections. Just awful. In every aspect from communication to billing. My daughter went in with a cough. They ran every test under sun including a full body scan! Charged me over $2500 (after insurance!)- told her she had covid- go home and don't tell anyone. They should be investigated for insurance fraud. Then wont discuss or explain the bill!! Just awful. Told my daughter she better be missing a limb if she ever goes there again.
