Extremely sick with a bad cold and pneumonia, cannot breathe, called for a basic appointment on Thursday, and they only have one doctor there and wouldn’t take me until the following Wednesday. What’s the point in having a family doctor? If you can’t even get an appointment while you’re sick. by the time they can take me I won’t even be sick anymore. They’re slower than a clinic.
They never pickup the calls
Unacceptable that there is NO English option when calling in.
Last week I called to inquire about my newborn child (less than a week old) being placed with a primary care provider as my family had been told if a parent can speak French, this centre would take my newborn. One parent does speak fluent French, but I was told that no my newborn would not be allowed to receive care because I do not speak French. I find this practice very disturbing, that an actual days old baby would be denied health care due to a parent not speaking a language. It feels very discriminatory. I was extremely... read more
