I swim laps on average a couple of times a week and since I like swimming outdoors, decided to try a couple of the Ville de Gatineau's outdoor pools this summer, especially since they're free. I've come to be used to peeling paint in concrete pools, and leaves in an outdoor pool are to be expected, but this pool had a lot of dirt, clumps of hair, and even food wrappers in it. I was surprised since the Ville de Gatineau takes very good care of their indoor pools. I will not return.
Always friendly lifeguards, a good place to cool down on hot summer days.
