I can’t say enough good things about Central Texas Birth Center. They were exactly what I was looking for, and I love my birth story. My son, my firstborn, was born May 6, 2023. I had a natural, beautiful, intense labor, and delivered him at the birthing center. I was so euphoric after he was born! Central Texas birthing center will make you fall in love with out of hospital birth.
I have had three babies through Central Texas birthing center. I would use them over and over again. They made me fall in love with midwifery care so much so that I am now with Student Midwife I have been for seven months.
This is a difficult thing to discuss here, but if it helps even just 1 person be saved from the horror that my wife and I live in, then it is worth it. Choosing to allow them to care for us and birth our son was the greatest mistake of my life. Our son died during labor at Central Texas Birth Center, his death was 100% preventable. 911 should have been called much sooner than they were, however Salli allowed my wife to continue pushing for an additional hour even though fetal heart tones were decelerating.
