Pretty bad experience with the dr Kenny Chan, zero empathy and not even an advice for my consultation also more than 3 hours waiting for him
I was seen by Dr Athena for an urgent medical review of my eye because I could not open one side without sharp pain protruding on the eyeball in some way. I couldn’t explain exactly what the pain is caused from and just from basic description of the pain and looking meticulously, the ophthalmologist managed to pinpoint the issue and it has been so comfortable in my eye ever since. After phoning to check if the Dr was on time we were told to arrive on time, it’s been over 1.5 hours and we still haven’t seen the Dr. We all understand delays happen but this system is just plain rude and it’s inconvenient. I rushed to finish work and pick up my child from school early… Update. We ended up at the clinic for 3 hours and 25 minutes (I’d say the time with the Prep nurse was about 10 minutes then the Dr took about 10 minutes. Had my first ever specialist eye appointment today . Central Sydney eye surgeons were excellent in my consultation today, all staff were extremely professional and I would definitely recommend to anyone who requires these services . Dr Peter Hayden was very professional, courteous and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.
