Love the convenience of dropping in for blood work. Vampire that works there is very friendly and efficient.
Convenient to be able to stop in without an appointment. The hospital labs in PEI are usually booked out for 3-4 weeks in advance so it's a great option when you need blood work done quickly. Very frustrating that their hours & holiday closures aren't posted online (only posted on the door of the clinic on a piece of paper). Also frustrating that when staff call in sick, no one replaces them. I drove for 30 min+ to find out the lab is closed today, and there is no where else in PEI that takes walk-ins. I went to Central Lab to get my blood work done and was very disappointed with the experience. They had a notice posted clearly stating they would be open on regular hours for Canada Day, which influenced my decision to go there. However, when I arrived, the lab was closed. This was frustrating and confusing, especially since other offices like Dr. Paul’s were upfront about being closed for the holiday.
