Was just in town for a day, and had so much fun dropping in for a session. It's on the small side but there was plenty of fun routes across grades. Staff was friendly too!
Oftentimes what small gyms lack in space, they make up for in thoughtful setting and a warm community. This gym does not. When we arrived, the staff member was busy calling an ambulance for someone that had a nasty fall. After having climbed there, I'm only surprised that the EMTs weren't more familiar with the location. Been a member for 3 years, I have never been treated so rudely at any other crg. Tonight, at exactly 10:00pm sharp, while I was literally just washing my hands, the staff blasted the announcement speaker yelling “We are closed! You can go back and wash your hands at home!” Then he immediately shut off all the lights, with a few customers still packing their bags in the dark. It's looks small, but there's surprising variety, especially if you're a slab fan. There's proportionately more slab and vert here than at many gyms. The restrooms are in various states of disrepair, so don't count on a shower being available.
Stopped using the gym on the 20th of June but wouldn’t let me cancel for the 1st of July. I sent out an email and two follow ups but could only get a response when I called them. Even though they specifically asked me to reach out through email. They also charged me incorrectly for the first month of my membership and I had to reach out to get that corrected.
