While most people review the park portion of this location. I wanted to review a special event at the park. I chose the Christmas and holiday lights display in December. Out of all the Christmas light displays in any suburb of Chicago, this one definitely ranks in the top three You’ll find unique lights, festive music and a nice walking path to get some exercise. This is a great place to unwind with toddlers/smaller kids. Not too busy, have the bigger sandlot playground at the front when coming in the park , this playground is situated more in the back. Have a playground with soft cushion flooring, have a nice walk path going to around and hitting the lake, have a pickleball court, good parking. The Oakbrook park is actually super big and it is subdivided into smaller parks.

We rented this space for our son's first birthday party (~100 guest) and it was spectacular. The venue has a great vibe to it with the high ceilings and natural light. The staff was very professional and attentive to our requests while the party was underway. Definitely recommend this venue for your party needs!
