We normally call the bank when someone writes a check at our business to verify funds. We understand that verification does not mean guarantee as the money may be withdrawn shortly after but it will give us an idea. I chatted, called the bank then sent me to customer service as they don't do fund verification. I was told I will have to present the check at the bank or deposit it at my bank. How can you rate the branch locations of a bank that are all so good they deserve a 5-Star rating. The tellers are prompt and assist with the your every need, this without seeming to be too nosy. Ya, we've all been to banks and other businesses that someone seemed to be getting too personal, well this branch has tellers and officers that are not this kind of persons. This branch of CNB does a lot of Mortgage work, so if you are buying a home, consider CNB when doing so.
