Had a great experience with Scott from Central Motors yesterday. Pulled up in the afternoon without warning, having had an engine overheating/coolant issue and wanting to get back to Darwin that night after a multi day hike. Despite Scott being super busy he spared the time to have a look at the car and found the immediate problem, which was a simple fix. Despite offering money for the help and honest advice, Scott didn’t charge. Would definitely recommend the company for Katherine locals and passers-by! Thanks Scott!
Scott and team will look after you & your vehicle. The business -along with the rest of the NT! - does have challenges with staffing (eg no full time admin/ reception staff) so can be difficult to get through via phone while the boys are all working - you might need to be patient/wait for a call back or you can drop in personally, but either way they are excellent mechanics, honest and helpful with great communication and strong work ethic. Highly recommended!
