I had an excellent experience with Dr Basnayake who is not only highly knowledgeable but also very approachable and compassionate. Dr Basnayake was probably the least sympathetic and dismissive Gastroenterologist I saw in my health Journey. Gas lighted me on certain treatments that are well known and proven in the medical fraternity but he seems to think the conditions don't exist. Would rather use the fake term "functional gut disorder" than actually educate himself on alternative treatments and conditions. Definitely wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Lovely and kind staff
Dr Chamara was amazing. His bed side manner and ability to explain things in a way that made sense, was wonderful. Even though what is wrong, was not related to gastro issues, he spent time with me going over everything and not brushing of anything I said or research I had done. I would have no problem suggesting him onto someone else.
I have had gut/bowel issues my whole life since I was 2 years old. Seeing drs and gastroenterologists and many other specialists on and off with no hope before giving up in my early teens. Tried again now (I am 25) with a referral to see Annabelle Citroen for only a short few months and she has changed my whole life around. I could not recommend her more.
