Found Dr Yung to be disorganised and very poor with communication. Would not recommend.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Michelle Lui after years of going around in circles without finding any real solutions. Dr. Lui was gentle, empathetic, and took the time to explain everything about my condition. Normally, doctors just hand you a script and don’t really show much interest in what you’re going through. I’ve been trying for months to get treatment and see a specialist, and finally, I feel like I’m on the right path.
Avoid Dr Caroline Yung. I’ve had several appointments with her now, with every one being rushed and she gets visibly agitated if you ask reasonable questions. Her approach seems to involve giving broad, generic advice, that anyone can find on Google, cutting corners with irrelevant blood tests and then struggles to explain how medications work. Patients want to feel valued and naturally have questions about their health because it’s important. They want to understand their conditions properly but she simply isn’t interested.
