Mixed feelings. Our first appt was a 2 hour wait. After that check-in/out is easy and they’ve been flexible with appts. Dr Laufer is awesome-takes time and really cares. The other doctor runs in and out. The nurses and technicians are kind. What’s not good is the machine itself. During the last several weeks of treatment the machine has been down 5 times. I have had a bad outcome, rare, but they do not care and they will not give you any referrals or consideration. 10 months of suffering that was triggered by radiation and now I am doing end of life planning because of these people. The techs are great, but if you have any actual bad radiation outcome you are on your own. This place is great unless you have ongoing issues from radiation. They will tell you it isn't the radiation and you will be left seeing doctors who don't specialize in radiation to figure out what is wrong. Not sure the point of a follow-up if they don't care. They were condescendingly surprised I would want a PT referral. I may have a serious medical issue caused by radiation and the disbelief in my symptoms has prolonged any answers. Fast and accurate check-in. Appointment on time with only about 4 or 5 minutes in the waiting room. Blood work done fast. Of course Dr Sastry is amazing!
