It's hard to say you were lucky when you break down on a road trip, but I have to say breaking down at the same exit as Central Iowa Diesel was supremely lucky! My wife and I were hauling our 40 ft trailer and had the transmission on our truck start to make some horrible noises. We were able to limp it to their lot. Chris got her diagnosed quickly and for a good price got us back on the road as fast as he could. Communication was great the entire time! If you’ve got a diesel truck in need of any kind of repair, don’t waste your time anywhere else! I spent thousands of dollars with other diesel mechanics who could not fix my truck. Chris knew exactly what was wrong. Had it fixed in no time at a minimal cost. I’ll never go to another Diesel mechanic as long as Chris is around.

Chris has done thousands of dollars of work to my truck, never an issue. Work has always been excellent, warranty honored, and prices fair. He has a customer for life.
Paid 1800 for injectors and cup to be done and was told new coolant would be put in truck got home coolant had left over oil and fuel in it still from doing injectors looked to be just topped off. Map sensor was laying on down pipe exhaust Vaccum lines were dangling on exhaust manifold from where they worked. Good people but I'm finishing work I paid to have done and they don't seem to want to make it right. It was kinda left as is to them.
