The billing is a mess.
Just got a first time bill yesterday 7/14/25 for a service done 5/15/2024. The kicker here is that I called insurance and they did the claim in September of 2024 and I am just now (7/14/2025) getting a bill! What a joke!! This was an unexpected bill too! So be prepared to receive a bill a year after service!
My daughter had a scan done over a year ago. We use a medical sharing membership to cover medical costs. We were provided a quote for services. CIRA did not provide a good faith estimate for their professional services as required by Federal law. I own a medical facility so I am familiar with the requirements. They refuse to show you the total bill or what your insurance company has paid. They send a bill stating you owe xx amount but no other information. Complete lack of transparency and shady as hell.
Scammers - billed me for services I did not use.
