Central Hudson Gas & Electric 284 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 This company is Sooooo Incompetent! This past month, no one came out to read my gas meter. I had to call customer service 5-6 days after my normal reading date to get an answer. The young lady whom I spoke to, told me that the reading was probably not taken and asked me if I can go outside to give her the reading. The worst electric company I have experienced. Don't give up, they credited me nearly $2,000 in billing errors by sticking to the issue and insisting on comparing actual meter readings. I don't how they legally exist.
One of the worst public service companies that I have EVER encountered in 50 years of dealing with public utilities, absolutely NO care for their customers or genuine interest in correcting their own account mistakes
Worst customer service I've ever had. The prices are inconceivable as well.
