In October 2025, I had come home to these green and yellow flags on my front lawn. I had called the town in frustration and confusion. They very promptly informed me that Central Hudson had a work order. I followed up with CH on the phone and conveniently there was never a supervisor available who could speak to the work that was scheduled. Of course this is another one star review for central Hudson. Linda in their customer service department (supervisory position) was rude to me as I inquired about the meter readings “performed”. Linda, you were rude and straight up lied to me about how estimated billing hasn’t been a thing for years. They stopped estimated billing at the end of 2024, so please be better informed before you start putting words in customer’s mouth, finishing my sentence by saying “oh because all Central Hudson employees receive free electric?”... read more

I've been using them for 1 1/2 years, and have had nothing but headaches with their billing department. Spoke to phone reps and they are absolutely no help whatsoever. Transfered me to a senior rep. which took over 1/2 an hour to come to the phone.
