Trying to contact customer service is at best a chore. They take your money but when you need to contact someone concerning an issue it's like pulling wisdom teeth. I could see them being snobbish if I had volunteered to become a part of their association but personally I would prefer being a part of Georgia Power because when I had Georgia Power talking to customer service was so very simple. Generally ok, no communication with clients. Recently they decided to replace 2 poles in my yard. They showed up one day to drop them in the yard, no notice .nothing. They said they'd be back in 1 or 2 days to stand them. 2 weeks later they show up again no notice (I'm at the store 1 mile away)and disconnect the power and start working. The render my computer was in the middle of was of course ruined and set me back to 10hrs render time. That's about a $500 cost to me because no one could send an email, text, phone call ... read more

My bill is going up and to now what is $6.17 a day for my recent December to January bill and i have not done anything different in my house as far as increasing usage! This is freaking ridiculous and price gouging at its best. They ought to be ashamed if themselves taking advantage of customers. I an going to report them for frauding their customers and overcharging us. I wish i could go back to Ga Power as they were reasonable and did not take advantage of their customers. And they can be very rude also when calling them.

Central Ga EMC is the worst! Its constantly an issue with billing with them. I'm on autopay and my power has been turned off 3 times in the last year. They don't call, text, email nothing. I wish I could use another company but don't have that option.

Just got my bill 40%+ higher than ever in more than five years and during hard pandemic times. Ridiculous!

I wanted to take a minute to share my appreciation to all workers of Middle GA EMC during these hard times when lots of people are out of power due to Hurricane Irma. I just got my power back after 5 days, and was one of the last ones in my area to be reinstated, but I sincerely appreciate how hard all of these men and women are working. Thank you and keep up the good work.
