I started coming here about a year ago. At that time, I was lost for the first time in my life and didn’t know what to expect. From day one, the staff here showed me what real care looks like. Before finding this place, I went to another location just until I could see the doctor here, and the difference was night and day. Great clinic and great place to work. Clean environment, friendly staff, and such a supportive environment. Would recommend to anyone in need of treatment or a counseling position.
Everyone in the office is wonderfully helpful and empathetic to the nature of addiction and its nuanced impacts on various kinds of addicts of different paths. I was off put by the cold and condescending demeanor of the doctor. I know there are a lot of patients and not enough time, but people deserve a certain level respect and to not have words put in their mouth with obvious prejudice. Emma and Carolyn have really gone above and beyond making my transfer smooth as possible after being discriminated by Meridian in Gainesville for being prescribed anxiety medication leaving me stranded last minute on my dosing day that I have never missed in my three plus year in treatment. I have trauma with doctors that makes this process a bit stressful for me but they do a great job at making people feel at ease to seek treatment.
This has to be one of the most unorganized unprofessional places I have ever worked at. The director speaks on everyone does not allow others to talk. He allows the receptionist to speak to him any kind of way which is weird. The employees are bullies. They bully new employees and this gentleman that just started three months ago.
