The best oral surgeon in the area. He had so much patience to make sure we felt comfortable. The follow up instructions were clear. Teated us with so much respect and professionalism. Dr. Crofton doesn't rush and addresses every single question as many times as needed. He took the fear away from oral surgery.
Dr. Gies and his staff are wonderful! My dentist referred me to Central Florida Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for a back tooth extraction I was a little apprehensive about having a tooth extraction as I am in my late seventies My first visit was for a consultation; when I arrived, I had forgotten to bring the information from my dentist; the front staff was so fantastic at contacting my dentist to have paperwork sent over immediately. I feel like some of the reviews do not give a fair judgement of this office. I went and had 2 wisdom teeth removed and by far was the most comfortable and relaxed I have ever been. The doctor was completely awesome and straight forward with the whole procedure, the nurse that brought me back you could tell had a routine that she followed, but answered any questions I had. After a very quick procedure which I was surprised by, I’m 3 days post operation and feel great. They gave me everything to keep me healthy post operation.... read more
Avoid this place. I am an immunocompromised patient and at the referral of my nephrologist as well as my general dentist I needed to see an oral surgeon. So I went to see Dr. Gies at this office. Both my doctors requested a scan (and possibly a biopsy if needed) of a terrible mouth ulcer I had. This office did NONE of these for me. Saw the doctor for a total of maybe 5 minutes, he looked in my mouth and said he didn’t think anything was necessary to do.
