Very friendly and compassionate EMTs and paramedics at Central Newnan.
These guys are absolute criminals. They charge the maximum amount, refuse to deal with insurance, and then balance-bill the patient for their astronomical rates even if insurance pays the allowable amount. If Piedmont Newnan tries to transport you in a Central EMS ambulance, refuse it.
They are thieves! I was told buy my charge nurse and her supervisor that I had to take an ambulance from Newnan Piedmont to Atlanta Piedmont and that my insurance would pay for it. They only paid 200.00 and change leaving me with a bill for almost 6000.00. The average was about 116.00 per mile. I was not hooked up to anything so they did not have to do anything but look at me. DO NOT USE. This is a predatory company with astronomical rates. Their base charge is $3,850. Then they charge $42 a mile, and another $130 “disposable” fee.
