Thank you Central Electric for restoring our power here in Alleghany County, NC Your crews worked hard after driving 3-4 hours to get here. We’ve been in the dark 7 days and your crew spliced the lines and restrung them in 2 hours.
A tree fell across my driveway and took power line with I called the outage line and they came cleared the driveway and restored power so thankfully I appreciate all you do please be safe
For those of us who have Central Electric as your Electric company check out that bill Because not only has the price sky rocketed , but you're now going to be paying a 2.4% convience fee to pay your bill. Shame on Central Electric for taking advantage of their customers in a time when so many are struggling!
We lose power in our neighborhood constantly, even when there are no storms. Our power is fed through an area with no easy access road for foliage management so the solution has always been to not managed it at all. We have so many outages people have avoided buying homes here. We all wish you would rectify this problem. Half the neighborhood is Central and half is Duke. Frequent long outages are normal with this electric cooperative.When I moved into the neighborhood four years ago, I wondered why my neighbors had a generator . I don’t wonder anymore. My neighborhood seems to be the first without power and the last to be restored. It isn’t even raining!! We lose power when it rains hard. To say I am frustrated is an understatement.
