This power company is a joke. The wind blows you lose power. Power comes back on for an hour then shuts off again. If there was another company to service my area I'd gladly leave. So this is an updated post 07-05-26. So around 5:05 PM our power shut off. When you look at the site they give updates on power being back but that time comes and goes. They should be ashamed of themselves.
The worst power company of all time. There are three things certain in life: death, taxes, and central electric’s services being rendered absolutely useless if there’s even the slightest bit of wind. I have more faith in a hamster on a wheel to generate consistent power than CE. There may be third world countries with more consistent power companies than central electric. It’s a wonder how a company with the sole purpose of providing power can fail so miserably at it so often.
Absolutely the worst electric service provider I’ve ever experienced.
