My partner’s bonded retainer failed three times in a year. The orthodontist reused a broken wire, was rude and dismissive, and blamed him for not looking after it properly, how dare they blame the customer for their horrible work! They refused to fix it free of charge, instead quoting $300 for a new one and $80 just to remove glue. The wire came off while he was eating a soft brisket, he could have swallowed it!
