I attended Central Coast Brake & Clutch with a list of fittings, tube nuts and flex lines I needed to set up the hydraulic clutch on a classic car conversion from auto to manual. The staff didn't hesitate and demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the trade and their products and, a willingness to take a bit of time to work out what was needed and the best way around the job. So grateful… I was out of town with a car that was shuddering violently on the freeway whilst towing a trailer. I waited half a day only to be turned away by other mechanics that were confused saying it might several different things wrong and it was all very complicated and then with parts delay I might be stuck waiting until next week without accomodation that could take two big dogs. Denny was busy, didn’t have spare hoist, got my call late in the day, but crawled under the car himself instead of heading home. Found the m... read more
