Whoever answered the phone 12/17/2025 at the emergency room was incredibly rude for someone experiencing a medical emergency. If you do not want to work in the medical field and are a miserable person find another job.
Spent 5 hours camping out in the waiting room while I was waiting on a sick family member. I’ve had a lot of real miserable experiences in emergency rooms all over the world. This was not one of them. Jenny at the front desk was more than hospitable during my little camping expedition at this place. Everyone was really quite wonderful. Keep up the great work. Let’s hope these great folks are able to continue serving Sanford. Thanks again.
If you are not a US citizen, your ER visit here is essentially paid for. If you don't have a job, your ER visit here is essentially paid for. If you are a working class US citizen with insurance, a quick ER visit here is going to run you about $6000.
So, I know they don’t have stellar reviews BUT we've been here twice when my daughter was stung an we didn’t know she was allergic to bees (great experience), and my oldest is a rugby player, she got a concussion two years ago, took her there also, zero complaints. Last night when I drove up there, I walked right inside to the check-in window and said, “Uhm, my son is in the truck, and he’s definitely got a broken leg, could someone please help me stabilize him to move him inside and stay with him while I park my truck?” Bef... read more
This is the worst hospital experience I think I have ever seen before. My grandmother was brought in via ambulance. When we got there the whole place is a mess and a wreck. Only one nurse was there for the ENTIRE EMERGENCY ROOM. Everyone that we spoke to was extremely rude. They left 3 vials of blood on the counter, forgot the vials were there and CAME back for more samples. There is no organization there at all whatsoever.
