Horrible experience. Rude nurses. Waited 5 hours with a very sick child for no answers and no sense of urgency. Please do not go here!!!!

I had to visit the emergency department last night and the whole time I was there I was treated with compassion and respect. I didn't have to wait around forever and my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly and professional. Will definitely return if necessary.

I was very disappointed with my experience in the Emergency Department at Central Carolina Hospital. I found several providers to be dismissive and lacking in compassion during a time when I was in need of urgent medical care. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and the communication left much to be desired. Fortunately, I was transferred to WakeMed Cary Hospital, where I received outstanding care. My boyfriend had an accident and came to this emergency room and they discharged him saying he had nothing wrong but a sprained arm. Got a second opinion elsewhere and it turns out they missed TWO fractures in his wrist and elbow
