So, I know they don’t have stellar reviews BUT we were here twice when my daughter was stung before we knew she was allergic to bees (great experience). My oldest is a rugby player and got a concussion two years ago, also brought here here, zero complaints. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. WORST HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! The staff is inattentive. The doctor is very passive. Doesn't explain anything and doesn't check in (neither do the nurses). Our primary nurse was old, ornery and disgusting. Coughed WITHOUT covering his mouth OR washing hands at all. It took hours to get a room, they gave an IV drip with little explanations as to why or what was even going in the IV. Here for almost 8 hours for an IV drip. Whoever answered the phone 12/17/2025 at the emergency room was incredibly rude for someone experiencing a medical emergency. If you do not want to work in the medical field and are a miserable person find another job.

Spent 5 hours camping out in the waiting room while I was waiting on a sick family member. I’ve had a lot of real miserable experiences in emergency rooms all over the world. This was not one of them. Jenny at the front desk was more than hospitable during my little camping expedition at this place. Everyone was really quite wonderful. Keep up the great work. Let’s hope these great folks are able to continue serving Sanford. Thanks again.
