My cancer treatment was over in October 2021. I had one really excellent oncologist while I was there named Dr. Nanny. He retired, so after my treatment I had follow up appointments with an oncologist named Dr Fesen. I only saw Dr Fesen by video conference three times because it was during Covid. My husband was diagnosed in November and our heads were spinning. We did what everyone told us we should do and got second and third opinions on treatment. We went to KU Med and Mayo. After looking at each location and the treatment plans we felt most comfortable with Central Care Cancer Center right here in Emporia.
