Holding check when associate told me it cleared my account... they lied and admitted it and did nothing.....

Ms. ****** deposited a check in the amount of $6,950.00 drawn on TJX Companies, Vanguard Fiduciary Trust Company. The deposit was made through an image ATM machine on December 9, 2019. An exception hold was placed on the item due to the amount of the check that was being deposited. That hold was set to release on Friday, December 13. I am just tired of these overdraft fees. I have emailed and chatted with a few customer service people who have told me they will remove the fees but they are still there. I just do not understand how difficult it is to just deny a transaction instead of paying it and then charge me $35 what year is this that banks are so greedy still charging this? Makes no sense. It is pure greed.....
