The chairs in the Emergency Room are all smashed together, I know this place is making people sicker than they come in. At any rate, I sat in the ER for 5 hours and all they did was draw blood, for potential internal bleeding from food poisoning. I was dehydrated and they wouldn't give me fluids, not even water or juice to drink, it took them 4 and a half hours to bring me medicine for my nausea in the waiting room. On 5/28 we took my dad to the emergency room because he had been suffering from kidney stones. The Long Prairie ER informed him one was causing damage to his kidney because of the urine that was backed up. He spent Thursday overnight in the hospital being to told he would be on the OR schedule the following day. He was informed the following morning he was going to be sent home in pain and for his kidney to continued to be damaged.
