One of the worst emergency rooms I have been to, and I am from Indiana where Riverview hospital is allowed to practice medicine (called Deathview by locals). I could not go back with my wife, they called her for blood while she was IN THEIR CARE back in imaging, they did not give her ANYTHING for pain while she sat in the waiting room with SEVERE upper abdominal pain (crying, rocking, nausea), never started the IV they said they'd start, the list goes on. I recently had back surgery & had to spend the night in the hospital. I feel the need to give a "shout out" to the whole team of nurses that took really good care of me because I was really hungry & in a lot of pain so I wasn't in the best mood, but Florence made me feel really comfortable & I really connected with her. I can tell that she has been doing this a long time, because she is SO good with people & making them feel better physically & mentally. A doctor personally gave us updates several times in a couple of hours. I have never had doctors take that time, usually they send in someone else to do updates. Very friendly and informative staff
