I know this clinic has mixed reviews, but I want to highlight my experience because it truly stood out. From the moment I was seen, Dr. Ong’era was attentive, respectful, and genuinely listened to my concerns. I came in dealing with ongoing joint pain, and instead of dismissing it, she took the time to assess the situation thoughtfully and made a referral to rheumatology so I can get the answers I need. I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment of patients here. My sister was told by a Nurse Practitioner that she is gaining too much weight for her pregnancy and needs to eat less carbs/work out more. My sister is TINY and weighs less in her pregnancy now than I do not pregnant (and I'm not even close to being overweight!). This is how eating disorders start and is extremely harmful language for a pregnant woman. Do better.

I want to leave no stars. I do not want to have children and dealt with fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis. I worked with three providers that would give me microaggresions like "what if your partner wants kids, "you might change your mind," and "you are too young to decide." That whole system needs to respect women's choices and bodies. Instead of doing what you think is best, listen to your patients. It is not your decision if your patient wants to be sterilized.

Whatever you do - don't go here for care. I have no idea how they even have a 2 star rating. The "care" is atrocious. When I went to leave after waiting over an hour for my provider she finally walked in. I was then asked why I didn't have time to see the billing specialist... seriously? I didn't have the 3 hours a prenatal visit to waste but heaven forbid patients are late 15 minutes. I changed clinics mid way through my pregnancy, literally anywhere else is better.
