I went in yesterday night with a very bad migraine and am from out of town. I had forgotten my migraine medication at home and they quickly got me taken care of and back to wedding festivities. Very thankful for all the caring staff. Most efficient ED visit I’ve ever had.
Quality of care was good when my wife went there for an ER visit last week. Dr really nice, nurse really helpful. But I’ve got a massive HOWEVER to stack on here. She required follow up care that could not be provided at Centra. The hospital flat out refused to forward her X-rays to her provider for follow up care, stating we would need to pick them up ourselves or have them sent through regular (non overnight) mail. Diabolical pricing, 21 grand for a few X-Rays and a ct scan after falling off a mountain bike.
Came for a refill of an essential med. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. They gave me a dosage of my medicine right then and there and 1 to take with me for the next day. And they filled me a prescription with CVS. I was not expecting it to be that easy. Appreciate them!
