My sisters and I stayed at the Dawson Inn while our father was in the hospital. The staff greeted us with smiles and comforting words every day. It is a well maintained place and the fact that it is close to the hospital is a plus. I would highly recommend staying there if there is a need.

I want to start this review by giving you a backstory: While I was away on a cruise, I got the news that my grandmother wasn’t going to be here much longer. Needless to say, my cruise was very stressful, because I didn’t know if I would make it in time to see her. After driving from the port in Florida, we arrived at Lynchburg General and I was able to see her. I traveled from out of town for a family member being admitted to Lynchburg General and I was extremely exhausted upon my arrival. I received my referral from the hospital and Amanda from the Dawson Inn welcomed me and provided me with a tour. My stay was great and pricing was very reasonable. Also, they had a kitchen, stocked snacks, and a washer / dryer. They get a 5 star rating from me and thanks for everything.
