The mortgage team at Centier was great to work with on our mortgage. They did an excellent job getting us the right rate and terms for our loan. I enjoyed how well they did things for us and have referred them to other people who have also had a great experience.

Unfortunately as part of my purchase agreement, my builder required that I use Centier for a new construction loan. I would never use my builder or Center again. My builder referred me to Jason Halcomb at Centier, and I did not have a good experience. If you must use Centier, I would recommend finding a different loan officer. In my experience, if felt like Jason was more focused and consumed on getting and closing loans and much less concerned with his reputation and providing adequate customer service. I refinanced my mortgage with Centier. You CANNOT make an online payment with your mortgage through them. They require you to open a checking account with them and use it to make an online payment. That is simply asinine; I am unaware of any other mortgage lending institution that has this limitation. You also CANNOT even make a payment over the PHONE unless you have a Centier checking account.
