My family has had a difficult experience with Centers Plan for Healthy Living when attempting to increase home aid hours for my mother, who is currently in the final stages of battling cancer, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and vision impairment. Her condition renders her bed-bound and in need of constant care due to safety concerns and incontinence issues. Do not work here. Do not sign up to use their services unless you have the lowest level of need and you have involved family or alternative care providers. If you are unlucky enough to be stuck with them, always note who you talk to, when and try to get it in writing. If you work for you them, protect yourself and your license. Keep your head down, keep your integrity and NEVER let them push you to cover for their nonsense. Document anything suspicious. They will try to fire you in retaliation. I had high hopes for this place and was disappointed. I worked there for a month and was fired abruptly. This is my first fire, so I don't know the protocol. I came in and got to work. I was still very much in the learning phase coming from an Education/ Real Estate/ CSR background but no claims. I took a call and a provider rang in about a 2019 claim and insisted she speak with a supervisor because CPHL, "play games."
